RESPECT

Lighting has been much forsaken and forgotten by the stakeholders. The signs are all over us. One simply have to observe.

We see sodium street-lightings from transport authorities.

We see blind floodlighting on glass facades from desk-bound consultants.

We see ill-advised decision-makers going after price rather than quality.

We see good class bungalows using uninspiring luminaires.

We hear LED is the only green lighting technology.

We experience 88W worth of T8 in public housing lifts.

We see insane contractors buying LED lighting projects coupled with 5 years warranty on material and labor.

We see hobbyists using old-school yet perfectly wise suspended luminaires for their beloved aquariums.

We are losing our emotional attachments for the Edison bulb to the highly sterile semiconductors.

We don't see proper EOL (End of Life) disposal program for luminaires, lamps and gears.

We see aluminum more than ever before for thermal management on LED luminaires.

We may be minnows in the lighting industry but that does not stop this radical expression of individualism. RESPECT Lighting.
